This past Friday, the United States Supreme Court overturned the famous Roe V. Wade case that legalized abortion in America back in 1973. It was a 6-3 decision in Dobbs v.s. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
This ruling does NOT say “abortion is now illegal in the United States.” This ruling simply says that that the people of the United States (through their elected representatives) should be deciding whether or not to allow or regulate abortion. It puts the decision back on the state level, and that’s a good thing. It’s a long overdue victory for the life of the unborn.
On this episode of The GRIZ Podcast, I’m going to to help you better understand what this historic decision means and also explain what we as Christian men need to better understand about abortion and how to respond to those who hold an opposing view. Many “Christians” are talking about abortion in the wrong way. I saw it all weekend on Facebook. There’s a better, more intelligent, and more loving way for us to talk about the issue of abortion that causes people with an opposing view to think and question their views.
This is something that I’ve been learning from two guys: Shawn Carney and Steve Karlen, Authors of the incredible book, What To Say When … The Complete New Guide to Discussing Abortion.
