Here’s a little about my life … I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Stephanie for over 27 years and we have three children: Autumn, Noah, and Gabrielle. We live in the beautiful Low Country of South Carolina with our crazy chocolate lab, Remi.
I grew up in a broken and abusive home. My mother died of cancer when I was five years old, and my father left when I was 12 years old. My older brother (Mark) became my legal guardian from the age of 12 to 18. Full of hurt, anger, and addiction … my life was quickly spiraling downward. Thankfully, God intervened before it was too late. Sitting in a chapel service during my junior year of high school, I heard the gospel in a way that wrecked me! By the grace of God, I turned from my old way of living and began to follow Jesus Christ as Lord. In Him, I found forgiveness, hope, healing, purpose, and strength for life.
I graduated from Liberty University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with Concentrations in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. Throughout my college years, I served in Christian Camp Ministry, and after graduating I served as a Youth Pastor for 15 years at churches in Maryland, New Jersey, and Missouri.
In 2010, I walked away from a comfortable Youth Pastor job to launch Narrowtrail Ministries, where I serve as an Itinerant Speaker, Podcast Host, Men’s Coach, and Men’s Recovery Group Leader. I enjoy teaching God’s truth and helping men heal, grow, and succeed in life!
My favorite things in life are hanging with family and friends, reading, and being in the outdoors – mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, etc.
I’m a Licensed and Ordained Minister of the Gospel.
Due to my on-going battle with Lyme Disease and other ministry responsibilities, I’m only able to do a limited number of speaking engagements and interviews.
I’d love to connect with you.
