Episode 210: Even Great Men Battle Depression!

Many Christian men battle depression … even many Christian leaders. At times, I’ve had some rough battles with it myself. But over the years, I’ve been encouraged to learn that some of the greatest men who’ve ever walked the planet also battled it. These great men did not let it define them. They learned how to manage it, and went on to live incredible lives of deep and lasting impact. We see this with Moses, David, Jeremiah, Elijah, Jonah, Job, Paul, Charles Spurgeon, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, C.S. Lewis, and even Jesus Christ.

I drop all those names of great men on you to let you know that you’re not alone if you’re dealing with depression. Let that fact encourage you!
