Episode 192: Crushing Life with No Arms! – Interview with Daniel Ritchie

This is a past episode of my interview with Daniel Ritchie ( a GRIZ CLASSIC)!

Daniel Ritchie was born without arms, but God has given him a thriving life. He speaks to more than 200,000 people every year – sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as what he’s learned being born visibly different. God has shaped his perspective to pursue a full life because he is defined by Him, and His grace rather than seeing himself as the sum of two empty sleeves or finding his value in the eyes of the critical opinions of the world.

It is his joy to encourage others, and provide them with the hope of Christ. His circumstances are unchanging, as are many of yours. And if God has brought him to a place of contentment and joy in this very visible difference to the watching world – which affects every day in public or private – then He is most able to do the same for anyone else. This is a message that he has been able to take to churches, public schools, fundraisers, Christian schools, corporate events, colleges, seminaries, conferences and professional sports teams.

At home, Daniel resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife of 15 years, Heather. They have two children – their son, Teague and their daughter, Elliott Hayes. They love Friday night pizza and movie nights together, traveling, being outdoors, football and the beach.
